MeasureUp practice test are designed to help students and individuals prepare for exams from vendors such as Cisco, CIW, CompTIA, HIPAA, Microsoft, Novell, Oracle, SCP and Sun.

MeasureUp provides assessments to students as an evaluation tool. MeasureUp’s assessments have a limited number of questions that must be completed in a specific timeframe. You may provide assessments for a variety of reasons:

To evaluate a potential job candidate’s skills

Microsoft endorses MeasureUp products, and encourages MeasureUp to participate in the Microsoft Practice Test Provider program. Microsoft must review all practice test content to ensure it meeting the Microsoft standards. This includes question difficulty, question content, and ensuring test objectives are met.

Testing Modes

The following testing modes are available for most of the MeasureUp technical practice tests:

Study Mode

Enables users to work through questions at your own pace
Select and display as many questions as available
Maximize study time by displaying the answer(s) and explanation to each question, instead of waiting until the end of the test
Displays randomized test questions/answers to eliminate memorization and encourage learning
Receive a full score report after completing each test
Scores are visually broken down to view performance on each test objective, and are saved in the test history record
Elect to display questions missed in prior attempts of taking the test
Missed Question mode allows users to focus their study on particular questions within a specific objective to enhance their study and learning strategy

Certification Mode

Experience the practice test as a simulated vendor exam
Timed practice tests with a set number of questions - Answers, explanations, and references
Displays randomized test questions/answers to eliminate memorization
Receive a full score report after completing each test
Scores are broken down to view performance by test objective, and saved in the test history record

Once a user has completed their test preparation, MeasureUp recommends that they pass the MeasureUp practice test, in certification mode, with a score of 100% - twice.

Custom Mode

Enable users to work through questions at their own pace, as well as selecting questions from all or certain objectives
Select as many questions as available
Maximize study time by displaying the answer(s) and explanation to each question instead of waiting until the end of the test
View questions not displayed on the previous tests
Focus on questions based on objective level
Displays randomized test questions/answers to eliminate memorization and encourage learning
Receive a full score report after completing each test
Scores are broken down to view performance by test objective, and are saved in the test history record
Elect to display questions missed in prior attempts of taking the test
Set timer based on number of questions, or turn timer off completely
Missed Question mode allows the user to focus their study on particular questions within a specific objective to enhance their study and learning strategy
