Established in October 2003 by Debbie Gourley; Managing Director of A-Certif Ltd™ and initially known as West Lothian IT Training Ltd. Born primarily to service the IT skills shortage and need to up skill company employees and individuals within West Lothian and surrounding areas.
The Company quickly sought Accreditation from Microsoft as a Microsoft Certified Partner and accredited as a training supplier by the Institute of IT Training where we are referenced against specific codes of training conduct. In November of 2004, the Company were awarded Business Excellence Award for 2004 under the category of Entrepreneur and Business Start-Up and moved onto achieve the Best New Business of the year Award for 2005 by Women in Business.
Demand for services in other geographic locations to include Aberdeen, Oban, Fife, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Scottish Borders, Berwick on Tweed, Croydon, Birmingham, Leeds, Leatherhead and London, the company found it necessary to re-brand to reflect both the geographic demand for services and also the addition of new services being offered.
A-Certif Ltd™ was reincorporated on 7th February 2006 and since have built a reputable database of customers in and around the UK. Repeat business and word of mouth has allowed the Company to grow and expand further.
